This may sound crazy, but I never know what I want for Christmas. Okay, I take that back. I do know what I want for Christmas, but it’s not the glamorous stuff like jewelry, new clothes or shoes, or … whatever. So here is my list of things I REALLY want for Christmas.
1. Cabinet locks. We have two that Abuelo put in under the sinks that keep the little guys out of the chemicals, but BOTH of the boys love to drag out every single thing from the other cabinets. Pots, pans, etc are fine, but the blender, food processor, not so much. Cabinet locks, please.
2. Doors that latch. The Captain’s room and his bathroom both have doors that don’t completely latch. Do you know how fun it is to be washing your hands or unloading the dryer then having to go hunt down your 11 month old, only to find him playing in the potty? Or stealing Brother’s nightlight out of the wall for the 50th time? No bueno.
As I am typing this blog post, I take a break to search the web and I found this blog that a friend posted….I am awe struck. I think this will conclude my post, folks. I’m thankful for what I have. I’m thankful for my precious kids and warm house. Someday I’ll wish I had a little stinker stealing nightlights from his brother’s room, when they’re all grown!
Merry Christmas, everyone! And think about supporting those that have nothing. I know I am.
