Being a mailman or mailwoman is hard….not that I would know, but I can only imagine. They have the tedious job of getting all the correct mail to the correct boxes and/or houses. They have to deal with unhappy and impatient customers, weather, dogs, cars, and so much more! Whether they work for USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or any other mail delivery service, their job is hard. And from all of the tweets I’ve read about UPS desperately seeking more help this holiday season, all of the “free shipping” deals on websites, and the fact that my UPS man is running about 3-4 hours behind when he usually gets to my part of the neighborhood, I know that these men and women could use some appreciation! So, while a hug may not be the most appropriate thing, I know they’d appreciate a Dr. Pepper, a bag of candy, a card, or even a smile and a “thank you!”
If you’re a mail person or package delivery person, I salute you! Thank you so much!

Amen, sister!! Sometimes I hide when I'm outside with the kiddos and see the mail lady coming....I don't want her to put a face with the crazy-sample-lady name. ha!
