Ease Into Another Semester After the Holidays with New Cereal!

There is something about going back to school after a long holiday break. When I was a teacher, I was excited at the new beginnings and a clean slate and all the wonderful new things I would teach my class. As a kid, I was excited about going back to see my friends and talk about all the cool things I got for Christmas. My kids, however, seem to need something more to get them excited about going back to school. Their school anxiety is real, and I honestly do all that I can to get their minds at ease and provide new things to get them pumped about a new semester of school.

Give Kids Some Ownership Of Their Morning – Let Them Choose A Cereal They Love

Sometimes, letting them pick out a brand new box of cereal reserved for the first day back to school breakfast, is all that it takes to get them excited about back to school. There are THREE new, fun cereals available at Walmart to help combat the post-holiday stress in the new year!

The 9 year old has the hardest time with mornings and school, and he needs time to get going in the morning. After he is dressed (in a hoodie and shorts in January, of course…) then he can curl up with a bowl of Jolly Rancher cereal. He loves the fruity flavor and he can gather his thoughts while enjoying one of his favorite candies…in cereal form.

The youngest actually loves school, but he oftentimes needs a reason to get off the warm and cozy couch in the morning. He loves fruit and also sweet things, so Trix™ Trolls with Marshmallows Cereal is definitely his jam. We all love those adorable Trolls!!

When his tummy is full, he can be energized and ready to start the day. You know, kindergarten can be really tiring, so you need all the energy that you can get!
