We were able to review the organic cotton Babee Greens fitted diaper with Baby D. The Babee Greens diaper is made with organic cotton, grown in the U.S.A. without pesticides or chemicals. The Babee Greens website says that many people claim that organic cotton is softer than regular cotton and I am thinking it’s true! This diaper is SUPER soft and luxurious!
Fitted diapers have no waterproof protection, so they should be worn with a PUL cover under clothes, but I like to put Baby D in fitted diapers without covers or any other clothes on warmer days. This provides for a quick change and also, I can see when he is wet.
This diaper is pretty trim and to be honest, I had my doubts that it would stay dry for long. The first time Baby D wore it after I properly washed it, the front stayed dry for a long time, comparable to any other fitted diaper we have. It held up well and didn’t disappoint. I think next time, I might put a “doubler” in to make it last a bit longer, but I was very happy with how it performed! I also love the snaps on the diaper and the fact that the insert snaps in the FRONT rather than the back. So many times, inserts that snap in the back shift around in the front, so this was a nice change!
This particular organic cotton fitted diaper retails for $19.95 on the Babee Greens website. They also have a lot of other cloth diapering goodies, such as hemp diapers, doublers, wipes, covers, longies, shorties and much more! They even have a clearance section and a layaway program!
