What an exciting time in the Fussybuckets house!! Yesterday was Daddy’s first official day at his new youth & family ministry job at our new church home! Last night was also the first night of Vacation Bible School at our new church and we had a blast! There were tons of kids, music, fun, snacks, and more!!! Captain Fussybuckets LOVED it and Baby D tolerated it (haha!) We had SUCH fun learning about how God made us and loves us!! We can’t wait until tonight when we get to go back!
After VBS, we invited the youth group over for a Dallas Mavericks watching party!!!!! It was so much fun to see my husband’s favorite team that he has been following for YEARS and YEARS WIN THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!!! It was awesome! It was such a sweet victory for the Mavs and I’m the emotional sap who is thrilled beyond words for Dirk Nowitzki and the rest of the team!
The Captain got to stay up late…not too much later than his bedtime, but he was o-u-t OUT when I shut his bedroom door! But don’t you just love when you *think* they’re going to sleep in but really, they wake up earlier? Love it. Not. Oh well. Maybe he’ll take a good, long nap today!

Last but not least, I was featured on another great blog today! Head over to great expectations and check out our super quick Pepperoncini Beef recipe!
Have a great Monday! Yay, God and yay, Mavs!
