It’s National Deviled Egg Day! Who knew, right?
Do you like deviled eggs? They’re just “okay” for me, but I know quite a few people who love them and gobble them up at family and church functions!
Here’s a simple recipe if you’re feeling like whipping up some deviled eggs in honor of this national holiday!
8 hard boiled eggs, peeled and cut in half
4 TBSP Miracle Whip or mayo
2 1/2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp margarine
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tsp prepared mustard
In a small bowl, place cooked egg yolks and margarine and mash until smooth. Add vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard, and Miracle Whip and stir until mixed well. Spoon mixture into egg whites or use a decorating tube. You can also sprinkle with paprika.
It’s important to keep your deviled eggs cold until right before eating so they don’t spoil!
