This Instant Pot Shredded Pork Tacos Recipe is a winner! It's easy to make and very versatile!
Ingredients
- 3 pounds of pork tenderloin, cut into chunks or strips
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 c beef or chicken broth
Instructions
- Slice pork tenderloin into cubes or strips.
- Toss salt and brown spices with the pork.
- Turn on the instant pot and select the sauté function.
- Sauté the pork in olive oil for about 5 minutes or until it is brown on all sides.
- Add broth to the pork and seal the instant pot.
- Select the manual setting and set the timer for 40 minutes. (It will take about ten minutes before the timer starts to count down.)
- When the timer beeps, quick release the steam.
- Using a serving spoon, shred the pork. It should be very tender and want to fall apart.
- Add the cup of salsa and stir.
- Place the lid on the instant pot and allow the tacos to rest for about 5 minutes.
- Serve on street taco shells or over nachos.
- Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container.
