Caramel Bombs are a fun, delicious, and EASY recipe to make for an after school snack, dessert, or even a special holiday breakfast.
Each Caramel Bomb has an ooey gooey center, full of warm caramel. You might be surprised at how easy it is to make these.
Can you make Caramel Bombs in the air fryer?
Yes! You can make just about anything in the air fryer, and this recipe is no exception. Depending on the size of your air fryer, they may not all cook at once. And they likely won’t need as much time in the air fryer, so keep that in mind and don’t let them burn.
Can I use caramel sauce instead of caramels?
I am all up for experimenting, but no, I would not use caramel sauce. If you want the caramel flavor but don’t have any caramel candies, I suggest making these without the caramel center and just serving with caramel sauce to dip in.
Some recipes require you to roll in butter, cinnamon, and sugar before cooking, like these air fryer cinnamon chips, but in this recipe, this is done after cooking.
This recipe is so easy, the kids can probably make them on their own, or with a little assistance from you.
The most difficult part of this recipe is folding up the caramel bombs so the caramel won’t melt all over the place. Make sure you press your seams tightly.
What can I serve with caramel bombs?
These are so great to eat by themselves. The rich flavor and caramel center is very satisfying, but you could also eat them with a bowl of ice cream or a side of scrambled eggs if you are serving them for breakfast.
I hope you enjoy this recipe. Please let me know in the comments if you have questions or have tried making these!
