Mornings can be quite chaotic, but easy instant pot breakfasts are where it’s at! I love this recipe for Instant Pot Peanut Butter Oatmeal because not only is it easy, the milk and peanut butter in this hot bowl of oatmeal provide protein for the busy day ahead.
Have you ever made oatmeal in the instant pot? It is SUPER easy. You pretty much just mix the oats and water, set it and forget it. When you are ready to eat, you stir in whatever you like. Maple syrup, honey, sugar? sure! Peanut butter? DEFINITELY. Then you can either add chocolate chips or sprinkle finely grated chocolate on top like I did. SO DELICIOUS!
Can instant pot oatmeal be refrigerated?
YES! This oatmeal can be refrigerated and eaten every day of the week for breakfast. I have not tested it, but I am sure you could freeze it, as well.
Can quick oats be substituted for old fashioned oats?
Yes. You can substitute any oats that you have on hand. Quick cooking oats will be softer and mushier and don’t have to be cooked as long. You can also use steel cut oats, but you will need to cook them longer and the texture, of course, will be different.
This Instant Pot Peanut Butter Oatmeal is a great idea for breakfast for the whole family. Each family member can customize their bowl of oatmeal and even their breakfast. Add a piece of toast with jelly, a banana or some strawberries, a cup of orange juice or coffee, and you will be set for the morning!

Before I became an Instant Pot user, rice was something I ate, but did not really like unless it was prepared for me at a Japanese restaurant or by my mother-in-law. I thought of it as a filler, a side dish to make sure that I stayed full until the next meal. I was constantly burning rice on the stove or just resorting to the microwave rice packets. But then, I got an Instant Pot, and my opinions about rice changed! I started with Instant Pot Mexican Rice and my love for the Instant Pot…and rice only grew! If you have been to my site before, it’s likely that the Instant Pot Mexican Rice is what brought you here. It’s my most popular recipe of all time! This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Blue Plate Mayonnaise. All opinions are 100% mine. Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese
As the summer heat keeps going up, I want to turn my oven and stove on a lot less. Who wants to cook when it is 90 degrees outside? We still prefer home cooked foods on most days, so I rely on my Instant Pot often. When I need to make a quick meal, I might pick up a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store, along with makings for a fresh salad, delicious peaches for dessert, and this Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese as a side dish. This recipe is creamy and delicious because of a secret ingredient!View Post
Instant Pot Mexican Chicken and Rice is one of our favorite recipes! This post has been sponsored by Grass Roots, but all opinions are mine.
My family has one thing in common. We all love meat. There is just something about a juicy grilled hamburger or baked chicken. When meal planning, I usually start with the meat we have on hand and form my meal around it. I like to stock up when there are sales and keep our deep freezer stocked with many choices. Finding the best choice for pasture raised meat with no pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, or GMOs is sometimes tricky and usually expensive. It is hard for a meat loving family to buy the best choice in meat…usually.
I recently discovered the Grass Roots company and have been very pleased. It is simple. You pick the meat you would like in your box and Grass Roots ships it out in an eco-friendly packaging with dry ice. When I received my box, everything was still frozen, so I just put it into our freezer. When you want to thaw something out, simply put it in a bowl in your fridge and depending on the size, it will be thawed when you are ready to prepare it.View Post
I can think of a myriad of reasons that I prefer using my Instant Pot over any other cooking device. The oven and stove heat up the house and take longer to cook things, the cleanup is always worse with bigger appliances, and well, the Instant Pot is SO easy to use! Take this Instant Pot Cajun Rice & Sausage recipe for example…everything cooks in one place, the flavor is amazing, and cleanup is a breeze!View Post
