Today is October 1st. I LOVE October. It is THE perfect month in Texas, in my opinion. I love the Fall colors, the smells, the tastes, and more. I'm not so fond of Halloween, but it is what it is and I'll take October anyway. Halloween isn't BAD, don't get me wrong, it's just not my favorite holiday. Captain Fussybuckets was due in October and I was thrilled. Although the little stinker came a day late, at least he wasn't born on Halloween. ha!
We got to enjoy the first day of October with our first family canoe trip this morning. It was a little frightening at times with two spazzy kids, but all in all, we had a blast.
