When Captain Fussybuckets was a newborn, I really hated writing down every single thing in a notebook. HATED it. But I had to do it because he was a slow gainer and I hated more not being able to remember the last time he ate, pooped, slept, etc. It was also embarassing when the doctor or nurse asked how often he was eating or pooping, and I didn't know! So, the pen and paper worked.
But now, with Baby #2…..I found…..Baby Geek. It's an app for the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and it truly the BEST.APP.EVER. I'm in love. This thing has everything. It's good for keeping track of breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, solids, diapers, pottying, immunizations, doctor's appointments, milestones, and it even has a growth chart! Something else I really like, is that it shows the averages for things like ounces a day and hours slept and compares it to the average for children that age.
I just can't say enough about this thing. It takes a little playing with to get the hang of it, but when you do, I can promise you won't be disappointed! Well, if you're a geek like me! It was the best 99 cents I've ever spent!

His sleeping really is "average"!
