Get Ready For Winter With Thompson's WaterSeal

Fall is upon us here in Texas, which means hot one day and cold and rainy the next!  We are sure to have a couple of cold weeks during winter at least, so now is the perfect time to protect your wooden deck, patio, fence, furniture, or other wooden structure with Thompson's WaterSeal.

Thompson's WaterSeal provides powerful protection against water damage by waterproofing the wood.  The Thompson's WaterSeal Waterproofer PLUS Tinted Wood Protector that we were sent to review adds color without hiding the natural wood grain.  The coating also resists mildew and UV damage.

My talented older brother (one of them!) built a playset for my niece over the summer.  Isn't it awesome?

He knew that he needed to protect the wooden playset from the harsh Texas weather…blazing hot one day….freezing cold the next….so he used the Thompson's WaterSeal Waterproofer PLUS Tinted Wood Protector in Natural Cedar on the playset and look how it turned out!

I really like the color of the wood after the Thompson's WaterSeal was applied.  It looks beautiful!

The Thompson's WaterSeal Waterproofer Plus Tinted Wood Protector comes in Honey Gold, Natural Cedar (which is seen above,) Rustic Red, or Nutmeg Brown, so you can choose what color best works for your project.

Are you wondering how long the Waterproofer Plus Tinted Wood Protector lasts?  The Thompson's WaterSeal website says:  "Length of protection will vary depending on environment.  Perform the splash test once a year to see whether application is necessary.  For maximum protection from color change and other damage caused by the sun, application is recommended every year.  Vertical and horizontal surfaces will experience color changes at different rates."
